Ozgen Felek is the lector of Ottoman Turkish in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. She received her first Ph.D. from Firat University in Turkey (2007) and her second Ph.D. from the University of Michigan (2010). In addition to Ottoman, her teaching and research interests include literature, gender, sexuality, and Sufism in the early modern Ottoman Empire. She is also an artist of Islamic text illumination and miniature painting.

Agnieszka Rec is an Early Materials Cataloger at the Beinecke Library, with a specialization in Western medieval manuscripts. She received her PhD in History from Yale, where she also received a BS in Math and Humanities. Her current research focuses on the book collecting practices of Anna Cabot Lowell Quincy, a bibliophile, diarist, and author active in Boston in the 19th century.
