Speaker/Performer: Mejgan Massoumi, Stanford University

Mejgan Massoumi is a historian of modern Central/South Asia and the broader Middle East. Her research focus is modern Afghanistan and the connective histories of media, sound, and popular culture across the region. She is currently a teaching fellow in the Civil, Liberal, and Global Education program at Stanford University and working on her book manuscript.
