Seren currently pursues her PhD degree in Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University. Her research interests include comparative politics, political economy of exclusion, urban politics, identity politics, democratization and political regimes. Her project title is Rethinking the Kurdish Question in Turkey: Class, Identity, Space and Regime Factors in the “Peaceful Coexistence.”  She works in the International Relations Department of Özyeğin University as research and teaching assistants. She has also contributed to the studies and administration of various NGOs and research centers; and participated in the organization of various congresses, workshops and seminars. Seren is the co-founder, vice-chair and Director of Turkey office of Political and Social Research Institute of Europe (PS: EUROPE), an Austrian based NGO which aims to create an academic and social platform to ensures the dialogue among young academics, civil society organizations and activists in Europe. Seren is also granted as a candidate of “youth leader” by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Turkey and participate in “leader training sessions” for 2016-2017. She is one of the founding one of the founding members of BİLGESAM Research Center Youth Board and she was the member of executive board at International Relations Studies of Turkey
