Christopher Beeley is the Walter H. Gray Associate Professor of Anglican Studies and Patristics. He teaches early Christian theology and history and modern Anglican tradition. He is the editor of the Patristic Monograph Series and a director of the North American Patristics Society, a previous director of the American Society of Church History, a steering committee chair of the Society of Biblical Literature, and a founding member of the Episcopal Gathering of Leaders. An Episcopal priest, he has served parishes in Connecticut, Indiana, Texas, and Virginia, and he contributes to Berkeley Divinity School’s Anglican formation program.
