Terror and Hope: The Science of Resilience

In commemoration of World Refugee Day on June 20th, Mercy Corps is supporting a global streaming event of the film ‘Terror and Hope: The Science of Resilience’ available for free on-line viewing from June 14-20. This new documentary (35 minutes) is about research-based work helping Syrian refugee youth overcome trauma. It is filmed with Syrian communities in Jordan.
An on-line conversation and Q&A will feature the award-winning documentary filmmaker, Ron Rourke, as well as Matt Streng (Director, Young People and Protection, Mercy Corps) and Catherine Panter-Brick (Professor, Yale University, Principal Investigator for the research work).
